Social Skills Groups for Children in our Park Slope, Brooklyn office
Our Social Skills Groups are here to help your child learn important social skills to interact well with others. We focus on teaching kids how to have meaningful conversations, make and keep friends, feel comfortable in social settings, and handle different social situations with confidence. Whether it’s starting to play with other kids, understanding body language, or learning to share and take turns, our groups give children the tools they need to succeed socially. These groups are perfect for kids who might find social interactions challenging, whether they’re shy, have social anxiety, are on the autism spectrum, or just need a little extra help understanding social cues. If your child has trouble making friends or you want to help them build strong social skills, our Social Skills Group can help.

- How to recognize emotions and respond with empathy
- How to solve conflicts and disagreements
- The importance of taking turns, sharing, and listening
- How to manage their emotions and develop coping strategies
- How to work well in groups and collaborate with others
By joining these sessions, children will feel more comfortable in social settings, make meaningful friendships, and build a positive self-image.
