Helping People Lead Healthier Lives
A neuropsychological evaluation can help to identify your strengths and weaknesses and the support and accommodations you need to improve. Our evaluations can also help identify whether or not you are having issues paying attention, learning, remembering information, or understanding and following instructions. Furthermore, it can isolate any emotional issues you are having which are preventing you from achieving your goals. Keep reading to learn more about our neuropsychological assessment services, and reach out to our team when you’re ready to begin with us virtually or in our Bay Ridge or Park Slope offices.
The Neuropsychological Evaluation Process
You can contact our office in Park Slope or Bay Ridge by phone, send us an email or you can book a phone consultation appointment right now. Once you make an appointment, you will be emailed our start up forms through a secure portal to complete in advance of your appointment so that we can review your concerns before you come in.
During your first appointment, we review your history, the questions you hope to have answered by an evaluation, and review any questions you have, including how a neuropsychological evaluation can help you. If you choose, we will also make subsequent appointments to complete the evaluation. Once completed, you will receive a comprehensive report which details all the results of the evaluation, our interpretation of the results, and potential diagnoses. Most importantly, the report includes detailed recommendations for how our team and other behavioral health and medical professionals can partner with you so that you can achieve your goals. In most cases, this will include recommendations for educational accommodations and therapy resources either at our practice or outside of our Park Slope or Bay Ridge office locations.
