Dr. Braha is happy to be joining the Ridge Psychological Team. She is a licensed school and clinical psychologist with expertise in providing psychotherapy and assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. She was trained in evidence-based treatments modalities like trauma-informed care and behavioral and psychodynamic therapy. She also has extensive experience in conducting psychological and neuropsychological testing.
Dr. Braha earned her undergraduate degree from Barnard College and her masters and doctoral degrees from Pace University. During her graduate training, she worked in public schools as well as at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at JCCA, where she worked with youth in foster care.
After completing her schooling, Dr. Braha was employed at a therapeutic preschool for children with developmental disorders, speech-language delays, and emotion dysregulation. She also worked as an evaluator for the Department of Education and as an adjunct professor. Her experiences have given her a thorough understanding of the social, academic, and emotional challenges facing children. Dr. Braha is particularly passionate about educational advocacy and ensuring that her clients receive all the appropriate supports they need through her comprehensive assessments.
