Insurance Policies

Ridge Psychological is an out-of-network provider for all health insurance plans. However, many insurance companies offer reimbursement for some or all of the costs associated with out-of-network mental health services. We recommend contacting your insurance representative to learn more about your benefits.

When speaking with your insurance provider, it’s helpful to ask questions to ensure you can access your benefits when needed. Consider asking the following before your first appointment: 

• Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services? 
• Is there a deductible I need to meet for my benefit year? 
• What is the reimbursement rate for out-of-network mental health services? 
• Is there a cap on my annual out-of-network mental health coverage? 

If you decide to visit us for a consultation, neuropsychological evaluation, or therapy services and wish to use your out-of-network insurance benefits, we will provide you with billing statements. You can submit these to your insurance company for reimbursement. The amount you receive will depend on your specific health insurance coverage.
