Therapy Services in Brooklyn

Building Skills for Healthier Lives Virtually and at Our Bay Ridge & Park Slope Offices

Alongside our comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, we also provide traditional therapy sessions for residents of Brooklyn and all five boroughs. Read on to find out what you can expect from therapy with our team.

Getting Started

To begin, you can reach out to our office by phone, email, or book a phone consultation right away. After scheduling an appointment, you'll receive our startup forms through a secure portal to complete before your visit, allowing us to review your concerns in advance.

In your initial appointments, you'll meet with one of our licensed psychologists to discuss the challenges you're facing and any concerns about important areas of your life, like work, school, and relationships. This consultation is a chance to ask questions and explore the treatment options we offer. At the end of the consultation, we'll talk about your goals, potential diagnoses, and care recommendations, including whether our services are a good fit for you. Together, you and your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan to help you work toward your goals.

Therapy Services:

We provide:

  • Child and Adolescent Therapy
  • Adults Therapy
  • Parent Coaching
  • Social Skills Groups

We offer short-term and long-term mental health care. Initially, sessions are often held weekly, and we monitor your progress toward your goals. Over time, you may visit less frequently, but you'll have an established relationship with a clinician you can rely on when needed.

We specialize in treating:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Gender issues
  • Anger
  • Learning issues
  • Grief
  • Relationship concerns
  • Life transitions
  • Academic or work-related issues

Therapy Methods

We specialize in evidence-based treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DIR Floortime, Psychodynamic and Play Therapy to effectively address your concerns. Therapy involves understanding the origins of your problems, how they impact your life and relationships, and developing coping skills to move forward. The aim is to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and learn new ways to improve your mood and life.
