A native New Yorker, Dr. De Santis-Moniaci, known to her patients as Dr. D, is proud to be working in her community. She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist who founded Ridge Psychological in 2017. Since then, she has expanded her services to include two convenient office locations in Park Slope and Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Dr. D offers neuropsychological assessment services for children, teens, and young adults and therapy services.
Dr. D completed her undergraduate studies at New York University where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. After gaining work experience, Dr. D returned to her studies and completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology. She attended Long Island University for her doctoral studies before going on to her clinical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
For more than a decade, Dr. D shared time between working in NYC hospitals and offering her neuropsychological assessment and therapy services in private practice. Dr. D enjoyed both the challenge of working in a fast paced hospital setting where she partnered with clients to quickly assess their needs and working with individuals one-on-one to help them achieve their goals. Since 2019, Dr. D has dedicated her time to her full time private practice work.
